Meet Gayle Roenbaugh, SBA’s Export Finance Manager for Wisconsin and Illinois
|
Gayle Roenbaugh is the Export Development Finance Manager with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Working closely with the network of SBA field offices and SBA’s Office of International Trade (OIT),she provides international trade and export finance expertise to small business exporters and lendingcommunities to deliver them effective export results.
Gayle works with SBA-staffed U.S. Export Assistance Centers (USEAC) to educate small business exporters,their lenders and trade related organizations on trade finance products through market knowledge,financing options and trade connections. She also provides insights into SBA’s trade policy and market developments in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Prior to joining SBA, Gayle held senior roles at Export Development Canada (EDC), HSBC Bank’s Global Trade & Receivables Finance RBS Group, PNC and JPMorgan Chase. Gayle is also a Certified International Credit Professional and Licensed Customs Broker. She is currently Co-Chair of the Banker’s Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT) Structured Trade & Export FinanceCommittee, while also serving on the Planning Committee for BAFT’s Annual Trade Finance Conference andwas an Executive Committee member of the Illinois District Export Council.

7(a) Loan Increase Requests
|
Revised guidance on requests for 7(a) loan increases to loans approved on or before December 27, 2020
Procedural Notice 5000-829036 revises previous guidance, and outlines that lenders may request an increase to a 7(a) loan approved before December 27, 2020 provided the loan either has received all Section 1112 payments for which it was eligible or that the loan was not eligible to receive any Section 1112 payments. This notice went into effect February 16, 2022.
