You have received notification that your certification with a government agency is approved and now you are eligible to compete for prime contract and subcontract opportunities with your certification. If you are unsure how to compete for these opportunities or how to market yourself to government agencies, this workshop will provide you information about how you can use the benefits of your certification to compete for government contracts.


Who Should Attend:

This workshop is intended for individuals who have an active certification with federal, state, and / or local government.

Learning Objective:

The objective of this workshop is to provide you information on the actions you can take now that you are certified by a government agency to help improve your chances of winning prime contracts and subcontracts.

This Webinar will Review:

  • Government certifications – what are they and what value do they provide you?
  • What you should do now that you are certified?
  • Understanding the systems available to you to conduct market research to identify your target agencies to market your business.
  • Recommendations for marketing to government representatives.
  • The role of the government Small Business Representative and how they help you understand what an agency buys, and how they buy it.
  • The role of the corporate Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) and how they can help you understand if their company buys your goods and services and how they buy them.
