ISLAND BIZ

Aloha, everyone!

Every year, the SBA’s Office of Veterans Business Development showcases the Veteran-owned business communities across the U.S. and Territories.  This year, National Veteran Small Business Week (NVSBW) will be celebrated from October 31st through November 4th with a range of activities.  We are fortunate to have one of the Veterans Business Outreach Centers here – the VBOC of the Pacific.

Director Dennis Kwak and his team provide training and counseling support to transitioning service members, the Guard, the Reserve, Veterans and their family members across Hawaii, American Samoa and Guam who aspire to entrepreneurship as their next mission or already own a small business.

They have planned a number of events, both in-person and online.  There is no cost for these events and Dennis invites all non-Veterans to attend as well.  Here is the lineup:

For more information about the VBOC of the Pacific, visit Welcome to the Veterans Business Outreach Center of the Pacific (hawaii.edu)
