National Veterans Small Business Week is less than three weeks away! The celebration kicks off on October 31. That week, SBA and its extensive partner network will honor the strength and resilience of the veteran-owned business community by hosting events across the country and sharing information about the resources available to veteran entrepreneurs.

Join SBA Veteran Business Outreach Center and Business Impact Northwest for a watch party featuring Pacific Northwest (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington) Operation Entrepreneur. This event is an opportunity to celebrate, connect, and empower service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses during National Veterans Small Business Week.
Celebrate with of a week of webcasts featuring presentations from leading experts of veteran-owned small businesses. The 4-day event will feature opportunities for virtual networking and resource sharing. Nominations for the 2023 National Small Business Awards are now open! The Alaska District Office will be awarding small businesses in the following categories:
Small Business Person of the Year (AK State)

8(a) Graduate of the Year
Minority Small Business of the Year
Veteran Small Business of the Year
Women in Business of the Year
