For more than 50 years, SBA has celebrated National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. SBA is now accepting nominations for the 2023 National Small Business Week Awards, including the Small Business Person of the Year. Nominations for 2023 awards are open until December 8, 2022.

Government contracting veterans


This week, SBA announced consequential updates to the planned launch of SBA’s new Veteran Small Business Certification Program—including the intention to grant a one-year extension to firms verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Vets First Verification Program through the Center for Verification and Evaluation, as of the January 1, 2023 transfer date.

Join us for a ChallengeHER event on December 7, 2022 in San Diego, California which features:
