Cyber Awareness Bulletin– Online Holiday Shopping

Alert Summary: With the 2022 holiday season underway, bad actors use fake websites to trick online shoppers into installing malicious software onto their computer. Websites disguised as fake online shopping platforms or as fake charities could steal personal information and money from online shoppers.

The U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recommends taking actions to protect your personal information, such as shopping from trusted and verified sources, using Multi-Factor Authentication for online shopping accounts, and ensuring that devices used to browse online shopping platforms are secure and up to date. Learn how to Manage & Pay Your COVID EIDL

Did your organization or small business receive a COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)?  All loans had a 30-month deferment, and many borrowers are now beginning to make their first payments.
