Last Call for 2023 National Small Business Week Award Nominations!
We are down to the wire in being able to accept nominations for 2023 National Small Business Week Awards.
Each year, during National Small Business Week (NSBW) celebrations, we are honored to recognize the outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community members that make life in the Pacific Northwest so special. In order for us to make this happen, we need your help in getting your thoughtful nominations in by the Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 12 noon (PST) deadline.
How to submit a Nomination
Step 1: Review the nomination criteria
Start by visiting the National Small Business Week awards page, where you will find information on award categories, eligibility, nomination guidelines and nomination forms. Please review the Portland District NSBW award guidelines for our District level awards.
Step 2: Gather and Complete the required forms
All of the necessary forms and instructions can be found on the National Small Business Week website. Some forms are required for all award categories, and some categories have specific nomination forms.

Step 3: Submit your completed nomination packet electronically
All submissions must be uploaded to the Portland District Box Account no later than Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 12 noon (PST).
*The award for Small Business Person of the Year is awarded per state. While the Portland District Office does serve counties in Southwest Washington, all nominations in this category for businesses located in Washington should be summitted to the Seattle District Office here.
Step 4: Watch your email for confirmation and further communication regarding your submission.
