Certification with SBA allows service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) to compete for federal sole-source and set-aside contracts across the federal government.
SBA’s new Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) program has transferred the certification function from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to SBA as of January 1, 2023.

SBA will begin accepting applications for certification on January 9, 2023. A link to the application portal will be posted at a later date at the SBA Veteran contracting assistance programs page.

This grassroots educational organization has a very diverse group of women leaders committed to bringing together youth and women to learn from and support each other. Their mission is to educate, engage, and empower women and young women to keep moving forward. They offers women-focused educational programs, advocacy & economic empowerment forums, connection services, as well as mentoring and peer-networking services that are proven to have a high impact on diversity, elevate the quality of life, and positive social progress.
Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce:
Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce serves a membership of over 2,100 businesses and fosters economic growth and prosperity in the Toledo Region and hosts the Ohio Small Business Development Center. Their mission is too transform the Toledo region into THE place for diverse talent to live and work.
The Community Navigator Pilot Program is an American Rescue Plan initiative designed to reduce barriers that underrepresented and underserved entrepreneurs often face in accessing the programs they need to recover, grow, or start their businesses. The program will provide a total of $100 million in funding to 51 organizations that will work with hundreds of local community groups to improve access to SBA and government resources for America’s entrepreneurs.
