When Oregon and the Federal government contract with local small businesses, it’s a win-win for all of us. Public agencies across the state spend millions of dollars on goods and services providing vital infrastructure to all Oregonians. These dollars also create economic opportunities for local businesses.

The 37th Annual Alliance Northwest is the largest business-to-government conference in the Pacific Northwest and is happening March 16, 2023. This event features an exhibit hall, high-quality workshops and pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between government representatives, primes, and businesses. Hosted by Thurston Economic Development Council, home of Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Alliance Northwest has a strong history of providing quality outreach events for government representatives to connect with small and diverse businesses.

This year’s event will be in-person at a NEW venue: Tacoma Convention Center in downtown Tacoma with easy access to Interstate 5. Alliance Northwest participants will enjoy a full day of networking, training sessions, and keynote luncheon speaker.

Nearly 96% of consumers live outside the U.S., and two-thirds of the world’s purchasing power is in foreign countries. If you’re a small business owner, the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT) is ready to support business growth through international trade.

Established in 2013 following a national mandate to do more to support international trade, the WEOT is a collaborative team of local, state, regional, and federal export assistance agencies who provide you with the tools and resources that businesses need to sell internationally.

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of each month to learn more about the Washington Export Outreach Team agencies and the programs, resources, and technical assistance they provide to support small business growth through international sales.

The first Are You Ready to Export? episode will focus on meet the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT) and provide an overview of the entire webinar series.
